Premier's Reading Challenge

17th April, 2012

Dear Parents,

We would like to invite children to participate in the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge. Children in Prep-2 are required to read 30 books by September. The children can read the books themselves, share the reading with someone else or be read to by a parent or older sibling.

Twenty of the books must be from the list available on the Reading Challenge website. Many of these books are in the school library and are labelled as Reading Challenge books. The remaining 10 may be your own choice.
The consent form must be completed and returned to the PRC co-ordinator (P-2 Annette). A password is then created to allow children to register each book read on-line. When all 30 books have been completed and registered, a print-out of these titles is to be handed to the co-ordinator to be verified at school by 3rd September. A certificate will be presented to your child later in the year.

Annette Halsall

P-2 PRC Co-ordinator
