Zoo Excursion Update
Yellow excursion forms have been distributed to each Prep student this week requiring your consent for them to attend our excursion to the Melbourne Zoo on Weds 9th May. We request that these be returned promptly to school in order for Maree to process payments. If you paid the excursion levy at the start of the year, this excursion will be deducted from that. If we do not receive the permission form and/or payment prior to the zoo visit your child will not be able to attend so please bring them in ASAP!
Volunteers
To assist us with our excursion to the zoo we require a minimum of 3 parents per grade. It is our understanding that these parents will be admitted to the zoo for free. We ask that these parents join us on the bus going to the zoo and back to school. Once teachers have received 3 names for each grade, any other parents who wish to assist us on this excursion will need to pay their own way and meet us inside the zoo grounds. It is important that you enter the zoo ahead of us (especially if you have a zoo pass as they will want to charge you at the gate!) We will arrive at the zoo (back entrance) by approx 9.20-9.30am.
The children are very excited about their first 'real' school excursion and we hope that it will be a memorable day!
