This term in the Prep Neighbourhood we have been undertaking an inquiry into Who We Are. An aspect of this investigation has been developing our understanding that friendships enrich our lives and require nurturing in order to develop.
We have been exploring the qualities of a good friend and how we care for others. Below are some of our ideas:
- Helping a friend who is hurt.
- Listening to our friends.
- Taking turns.
- Helping a friend learn.
- Looking after a friend in the same way we would like to be looked after.
- Sharing.
- Using kind words.
- Doing fun things together.
- Letting others join in our play.
